Central Coast Urology Team

Central Coast Urology’s team includes our medical secretaries Lynda, Robin, Kim and Maggie that are able to answer your questions during business hours and practice manager Lynn. Our nurses Clare and Nichole assists A/Prof Mark Louie-Jonhsun and Dr Francis Ting with minor procedures in the office and are able to assist in addressing questions relating to your procedure including pre and post surgery. Please contact our staff during business hours for any enquires you may have.

Anaesthetists

If your surgery is to be performed in a private hospital, Central Coast Urology will provide details of your anaesthetist for your procedure and they can be contacted for any questions you may have in regards to your anaesthetic or health issues prior to your upcoming surgery. The following are regular anaesthetists for surgery at Gosford Private Hospital.

Dr Michael Reid

Michael Reid is an Australian trained anaesthetist that served in the Australian Defence Force prior to becoming an anaesthetist. He joined the Australian Army in 1995 as a medic and completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Medical Science) (1st Class Honours) at the Queensland University of Technology.

Dr Craig Coghlan

M.B B.S B.Pharm JP (Qual) FANZCA

Dr Craig Coghlan is a Queensland trained Anaesthetist with experience in all aspects of modern adult and paediatric anaesthesia.

Dr Tony Chu

MBBS BSc(Med) FANZCA

Dr Chu has worked on the Central Coast for over 17 years and has been a Specialist Anaesthetist since 2004. He has previously been involved in retrieval medicine (NRMA Careflight) and hyperbaric medicine (Townsville Hospital).

Radiation and Medical Oncologists

Dr Louie-Johnsun works closely with other Cancer Care Specialists and offers a multidisciplinary approach to patient care including specialists dealing with radiotherapy (radiation oncologists) and chemotherapy (medical oncologists) in both the public and private hospital systems.

Dr Amy Yuen Meei Teh

BSc(Med), MB BS(Hons), FRANZCR

Graduated with Honours from the University of New South Wales in December 2001, Dr Teh has been a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiology (RANZCR) since February 2009.

Dr Namrata Nayar

Dr Namrata Nayar is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and Consultant Medical Oncologist at Gosford Private Hospital. She is also a Staff Specialist Medical Oncologist at Calvary Mater Newcastle.

Dr Mal Arasaratnam

Dr Mal Arasaratnam is a Medical Oncologist and Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP). Dr Arasaratnam currently works as a Medical Oncologist at Gosford Private Hospital and Gosford Public Hospital.

Dr Craig Kukard

After completing his specialist physician training at the University of Pretoria in South Africa, completing a Masters degree of Medicine (MMed) , he started his time as an advanced trainee in Medical Oncology.
